What Happens on an event
What does SSPI mean when they talk about an event?
Its a scary proposition when someone asks you to attend a ghosthunt...or is it?
Here at SSPI you can be sure that you will be made to feel welcome and supported throughout any event that you book with us.
A typical Paranormal Investigation with the team looks a little like this....but we can alter the event to suit the location, venue and occasion :
Many of our events begin at around 2030-2100hrs with a warm welcome from all the team members. The team will be clearly identifiable to you wearing SSPI logo'd tops and badges .
The team will support people to what we call the "hub" - the place where we begin the investigation, we use to regroup through the night and we conclude the investigation. We can also leave equipments and belongings here whilst busy in the building....
We initially group in the hub and SSPI team members will welcome everyone formally and introduce themselves. The workshop will then begin and this is a fully interactive workshop giving you a basic taster into "ghosthunting" what we use to measure environmental fluctuations and mediumship.
We then usually undertake the baseline checks of the building and depending on venue will then undergo the mediumship walkaround or watch a dvd of the walkround undertaken earlier...the benefits of that are huge and we will discuss this in the workshop. Following the baseline checks we divide into groups , issue equipment as appropriate and begin the experiements of the evening which vary greatly.. We regroup in the hub for comfort breaks and analysis and are in constant contact through the night with each group.
There are refreshments available during the night and we advise that no matter where you are going, you wrap up warm.. At all times you will be accompanied by a member of the team unless on a lone vigil when you are most definatly alone.... A nights events usually finish at 4-5am however this may vary according to venue and group size. Whilst we give the oppertunity to look at the spiritual and more scientific side of activity, we also have a fun night and aim to make the event fun supportive and challenging when facing fears.
SSPI have no interest in "creating" activity and therefore some venues and nights are quieter than others..activity doesnt happen just 'cos we ask it to. We will cater an event to meet your need and so are happy to discuss particular needs
